Probiotic Jello Snacks (Printer-friendly)

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 2 cups 100% fruit juice (apple, grape, or mixed berry; no added sugar or artificial sweeteners)
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)

→ Thickening Agent

03 - 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (use vegetarian gelatin for vegetarian version)

→ Probiotics

04 - 2 tablespoons plain probiotic yogurt or 2 capsules probiotic powder (contents only)

# How To Make It:

01 - Pour 1½ cups fruit juice into a medium saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the surface and let bloom for 5 minutes.
02 - Gently heat mixture on low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves completely. Do not boil.
03 - Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ½ cup cold juice and honey or maple syrup if using. Let cool to lukewarm temperature (below 100°F).
04 - Once mixture has cooled, whisk in probiotic yogurt or probiotic powder until fully incorporated.
05 - Pour mixture into silicone molds or glass baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.
06 - Unmold or slice into cubes. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
